I was at the country club this past weekend for a wedding and I was very unimpressed. It seemed as though the entire waitstaff had been hired the day before. A member of the bridal party had asked for bread and butter from 2 different people prior to the ceremony. The one server's response was, "Bread? No later. Okay, wait here" and they never came back. We scoured the place trying to find food. The bar appeared to be open with the lights and 2 tvs left on and a sign on the bar that said the bartender would be right back. However, the bartender was not even in the building it seemed and when we asked an employee for help after initially ignoring us they said, "I don't know what to tell you it's my first day". They finally put out a cheese plate in the lobby and it was instantly swarmed. Usually a sign that you're not feeding people. During the reception the server came to take everyone's order. They informed me I had a choice of steak, chicken or salmon to which I replied "I don't eat meat". Their response was "Uhhh..salmon?". After restating that I'm vegetarian, they said they would bring me vegetables. They took 3 of the 4 people's orders who were sitting at the table and ignored the 4th man who never got an entree the entire night. They were supposed to come back to finish taking orders for the bridesmaids who had not sat down yet but never came back. They came up to me an hour later to confirm my order of salmon to which I told them a third time that I don't eat meat and that I did not order that. They still tried to bring me an order of salmon and also tried to bring an order of salmon to my friend who had ordered chicken. I'm not why you would bother writing down an order if you're just trying to push salmon onto everyone. The only thing they were attentive with was collecting glasses and our pitcher of water from the table. I was dying of thirst for the last hour of the wedding because there were 15 desserts and no water. I would have gotten the water myself but they had taken my glass. When the waitstaff was serving they focused more on serving the empty seats at the table than the people actually sitting there. At the end of the reception, another guest became verbally abusive and slightly physical with us. When we informed the venue that we didn't feel safe, they said they weren't going to do anything. I would absolutely not recommend this place. There are nicer venues with more competent...
Read moreWe got married last month at the Knoll Country Club west on september 22nd and it was by far the best experience we have ever had. Raphael, who I believe is the owner helped us through the planning and he is such a sweet guy, and also very invested in making sure everything was perfect. From beginning to end, he made life so much more easier for us and made sure we got everything we asked for plus more. The day of the wedding, the place was beautiful, from the lights to the set up of the place, not to mention the wonderful scenery outside for pictures. The food was great, we had the steak, fish, and chicken options for our guests. Everything was so well coordinated and the workers were so nice. We were nervous about how everything would turn out, but until this day, our guests were telling us how everything was so nice and how this was the funnest reception they’ve ever been to. Thank you so much Knoll Country Club and thank you so...
Read moreI can not thank the staff of Knoll Country Club East for all they did for my wedding, not just on the day of but the days leading up to it. Working with Rafael was so easy and fun. I had been freaking out about the weather all week and made my husband speak with Rafael about it at our rehearsal. Well Rafael wanted to talk with me and I’m glad he did. He made me feel so much better when he said we could make a last minute move from outside to inside in case of rain. My dad, who hung around for the conversation, can not say enough good things about Rafael and the job he did all weekend. The outdoor ceremony grounds were everything I wanted. The staff was so attentive to not just us but our guests as well. The food was so good (the lobster ravioli was the best I’ve had). I really felt like I could enjoy my wedding without having any worries about anything because the staff took care of everything, even things that I didn’t think...
