El Jardin Beach Park — Attraction in Pasadena

My first visit to El Jardin beech was not pleasant. We arrived only to be told we could not enter because there was no parking in the lot. As we saw people leave it was still not explained by the park and Rec representative, that you could enter as people leave. I'm trying to be fair and not say that skin color was not an issue. This is a nice little beach, nestled in with a bunch of residential homes. Parking is limited to like 10 cars, so if it isn't early on a Sunday, not sure if you would get parking. If you just want to see the ocean and not have all the waves, this place is great. The water is super calm compared to Galveston and it is just a nice little beach area with rocky beach...

Absolutely loved this beach! No seaweed, no jellyfish, very clean, no shells really, so doesn't hurt the kiddos' feet. Perfect place to boogie board.
