All of the walking paths are super-nice, as they are made of crushed gravel. They're more cushy to walk on. My husband and I had been going to Robinson park, at Toddville and Red Bluff, to walk, but saw that all of the paths/parks are connected. If you're a Seabrook resident, you can drive into Pine Gully Park free of charge; we're not, so it would cost $10-30. But...you can walk in from Toddville road for free. It's a hike, for me. It was 1.25 miles round trip from the car. The path was nice and scenic...the area in my video has a long fishing pier and picnic/cooking areas, as well as playground equipment. My only complaint: for the love of God, City of Seabrook...could you PLEASE install some benches along the paths? Like every quarter mile? As is, there were only two places to sit, and they were half a mile apart. Not a problem for already-fit people, but way too far apart for those of us trying to get into shape. I made it the whole way, but thought I was going to die. Okay, not literally...but it was stressful not having a bench around the halfway point. I don't want to go back, but my husband does so we probably will...and I'll be slogging along, complaining about the...
Read moreNot sure how to rate this. We are from out of town and made a 30 minute drive out of the way to come here because a friend said it was a great fishing spot. As we pulled in, the girl at the gate was clearly having a bad day and the only thing said to us was “there’s no fishing here…” assuming she saw the fishing poles in the truck. We asked if we could go in the turn around and when we did that we saw the park and wanted to give the kiddo a chance to stretch her legs and we planned to pay the girl as we left. Within about 5 minutes of being at the park and gate girl sped down to us and said “we're lucky she didn’t call the cops on us!” We had cash and tried to pay her for the entry then and she wouldn’t take it and said it needed to be in front of a camera. So we left. Paid for 5 minutes of swinging and a bad attitude. I hope she finds a job that makes her happier. Other things were said too but it’s not worth mentioning. She just seemed to hate life. Park was beautiful and...
Read moreWonderful park in the town of Seabrook with a super long pier out into Trinity Bay where there were people fishing and sight seeing. There was lots of play equipment for the kids but my favorite for adults was a 'porch swing' near the pier that you could just sit and swing and look out at the bay and watch the ships go by! Really very peaceful and serene. The park is fairly large and has the standard (but very nice) play equipment, jungle gym, swings, slides, etc. But there was a really cool slide for kids (or grandkids in my case) that was like a drainage pipe that was laid down a small hill. There were steps going up the hill where you entered the tube at the top of the hill. Pretty neat. We went twice, once during the week and then on the weekend, we were stopped by a 'guard' where he was going to collect a fee for using the park but since my son was a resident of Seabrook, there was no charge for us but others should be aware that on the weekends there...
