I always seem to find good deals thanks to the right sellers that come and go and are willing to negotiate on everything from knives, pistols, rifles, jewelry, and much more. Some of those sellers offer good advice and are a wealth of information if you are wondering about a specific need or weapon. The only thing I wish for this particular location to offer is a free pass or discount of some kind to first responders. As a public servant and volunteer fireman there is always a chance we may have to respond to an emergency or go save a life whether in uniform or not defeating the purpose of attending the gun show for the rest of the day. A simple discount or pass for "all" firemen, officers, and military personnel is a good gesture that is long overdue. What translates as a small discount to these volunteers or public servants may result in a better pay out to sellers by providing motivation for those individuals to drive a long distance and attend two shows instead of one. I have traveled all over the state, and there are a few gun shows that still offer this benefit regardless of what city or county I'm from in the State of Texas. Never the less, I always enjoy my time at the shows and rarely leave without buying or learning...
Read moreThis is my second time I have come out to attend a convention in here. The first time was in 2021 for the Pasadena Gun Show. And it's my fourth time overall on the grounds for attendance to the Pasadena Rodeo twice over the past 25 years.
This convention was for the first Houston/Pasadena vinyl record show of 2025, on March 15th. Organized by Jesse, the owner of Music Connections located in Gateway Plaza in San Antonio, on 7121 W US Hwy 90 in Suite 140. He has a good handle on these large record shows, with a loyal following of customers in Texas, and is handled by some dedicated loyal employees who know their stock on hand very well. They have been established in business since 1982 in San Antonio and now throughout the state of Texas and beyond its border.
The negatives here at this particular location were a couple up front of the building. Poorly kept the restroom in need of a thorough cleaning with disinfectant. The other noticeable problem was the disrepair of all of the lobby water fountains. Everyone of them! Three stars for lackluster facility services in the city of Pasadena and are so obviously kaput here!!! The only shameful thing I was obligated to endure in a five hour...
Read moreBeware!!! On November 23, 2024, I went to the Pasadena Gun show to purchase a hand gun. I chose a gun from Mark Tatum’s table. I forgot my license to carry at home so Tatum said he would run a background check for me. No charge of course because why would I pay for what I already have?
After about 15 - 20 minutes he said he couldn’t get to the site, so I told him I would be back there next month. He gave me back my credit card and drivers license. A few days later, I checked my account and Mark Tatum had fraudulently ran my credit card for $90.00!! THERE WAS NO PURCHASE!!! Nothing!! This is blatant fraud. There is no phone number or email to contact Tatum, of course, so I immediately contacted my credit union and they’re still working on it as of today.
I am positive this is not a lone complaint. Tatum does this to many people stopping in his shop but I actually check my account for exactly this reason. Unscrupulous sales people trying to steal hard working people money. I’m going to write a review on Google and social media so people will be aware there are thieves and scanners at that gun show and to be aware, and check...
