TUITON: OUT-OF-STATE: (moved here from California) was about $1,243 (2-3 classes) IN STATE: much cheaper, few hundred BUT there are Installment payments! Which i recommend because it breaks the payments down rather than paying it all up front and won’t break your piggy bank as bad with these installment plan. CAREER PURSING: Surgical Technologists AAS PROGRAMS: Variety of careers you can get your degree or certified in! GREAT medical programs from what I’ve seen and experienced. They have welding, nursing, surgical technologist, cosmetology, etc. and more just to get certified. There’s much more but that would be a long list! PARKING: FREE PARKING 4 STUDENTS! which i like! But you have to go to the business office and get a sticker to put on your car windshield. If only parking lots had much more parking because it’s hard to find parking after 9am if you have a class at 9:30 or 10am good luck. Your going to be late to your class unless you wake up early and lurk for parking. My car never has been broken into on the SOUTH & CENTRAL campus but from what I’ve heard from friends they break into cars in the North campus so beware. GYM: Small, needs new updated equipment because the weights are rusty and old. The cardio machines are old to the point where some won’t even turn on and some buttons on the machines don’t work. I got a gym membership rather than using the gym at school. PROFESSORS: Some professors are better (Professor Sharon Griffin, Virginia Hanning, Jannis Innis-all great professors) and care much more than others. Just find the professors with good reviews on the website :) TUTORING: Sucks here! Not gonna lie. The Tutors I’ve had rotate on you with other students (usually around 2-3 others) but I had this one make tutor after I told him I had no idea how to start that math problem and so he kept asking me what i should do next on the math problem and it was making me impatient and get like i was wasting my time there. Then he said, “That’s an easy one”. Well if it was easy I would have solved the problem by now, but instead he was being condescending. Another time I came and a girl came to help, but she was on her phone most of the time and when I was stuck she didn’t teach the steps she practically solved it herself. The purpose of tutoring is to learn how to solve it step by step or provide an easy way for you to comprehend. OVERALL: Great school, affordable, education is excellent and moneys worth here, my counselor Michol is super helpful unlike other counselors rotating on me and getting gumbled up. Buildings around campus are nice and always clean inside and out.

My experience at San Jac. College was good and bad. But the people that I met, inspired me to keep moving forward. I love when my friends just talk to me when I didn't understand things. I wanna say Thank you, San Jac. Theatre of making those lost boys and girls find something. And that was themselves when we ACTED THE PART, in this mad world. Experience should be practice to prepare themselves for safety to head to a better life. #2013-2015

They have a really good campus and the tour guides were very nice. The Starbucks here is amazing and the service people are also friendly. This place has tons of rest stops for you to go to and take a break. I'm very excited to start my tenure as a dual enrollment High School student here. :)

My experience dealing with this school has been nothing short of a nightmare. Transparency is grossly lacking at this school. There are dozens of programs to suck you in and peak interest, but sadly that is all smoke and mirrors. No catalog or advisor can give you program specific details for course materials needed day one. This is mostly limited to trades or continuing education. The automotive department has the potential to be amazing, but sadly falls short due to the hot mess and lack of communication. I have been yo-yo-ed around trying to get set with a major in a trade, begging for answers to my questions and they come up a day late and a dollar short. For automotive they require you obtain a job, employment with a shop BEFORE ENROLLING. Make that make sense! Get a job in the field you are GOING TO SCHOOL FOR. Idiots all the way around, and a fantastic failure for aspiring students that do not have an insider to land a entry gig. Everyone wants education under the belt before hiring to repair vehicles, so the logic is broken at this school. Everywhere you turn, there's a question for a requested answer. The cycle is endless. If you are unfortunate and do not know what questions to ask, to catch the advisors in a lie, you will be stuck blowing thousands on a program you may not even be able to continue in because you don't meet the requirements. If you are thinking of transferring credits, DO NOT DO IT. Especially if you have attended a college that is no longer open. They'll accept the credit hours, but the credits without transcripts? Nope, not a chance. Will they penalize you for maximum earned credit hours and SCREW YOUR TERM UP THE WEEK BEFORE CLASSES? YES! Insanely broken and rigged system, and a total shame too. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else where your program is offered. This "college" will crush you and throw obstacles in your path EVERY SINGLE STEP OF THE WAY. Make my words, every single change they get, you'll be blocked. The lack of transparency and honesty is baffling to me. This is a money printing mill, designed to suck people in and make as much money as possible. They make the bold claim they help you after completion, which as I've seen so far, is not even remotely true. Avoid this soul crushing, wallet draining, lie...

I’ve met a lot of nice staff and advisers in the central campus in all the years I have came here before BUT today the “advisor” Allison Pombier made me feel so belittled and uncomfortable with her unnecessary attitude and comment. From the moment she wanted to over examine my ID “too look for the name” when I’m pretty sure she has seen many IDs before; I felt uncomfortable. I came for a super small issue that I clearly I needed help with and had tried to resolve at home but was clueless about. Her tone of attitude starting shifting when she said that I had to resolve the problem on my own and that they can’t do it for me, so I proceeded to ask her where exactly this could be done which she just said “open the portal and go where you registered” and NOTHING ELSE and just over and over “Go where you registered. Go where you registered. Go where you registered” which took me aback because I’m not very wise with the postal itself or school websites so even on my own I struggle to navigate through it. I attempted to do it by myself while sitting in front of her showing her my screen each step to see if I’m doing it correctly as I go because I am CLUELESS about what to do it hence on why I went to the school at 8:00A.M. just for this issue and all this while she repeats “Go where you registered” with increased annoyance and attitude but I guess she got fed up by 3-4 time because she proceeded to say “Why do I have to repeat myself and tell you what to do” MAYBE BECAUSE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO ADVICE ME? MAYBE BECAUSE YOU ARE AND ADVISER. This comment set me off and made me so uncomfortable and upset because who are you to talk like that to other people who are there to seek your help. I felt too uncomfortable to continue being there even though I still had other questions to ask, I asked if I could go and she didn’t even looked at me when she answered and I will admit that as I walked out the office I did bring her recent unnecessary attitude up and how uncalled for that was.

Allison Pombier, please be more considerate on how you speak to people, regardless of how small and silly a concern might be they are still there to be helped. If there was nobody to help then you wouldn’t have job. Respectfully my morning was...
