Point Park Pascagoula, MS — Attraction in Pascagoula

I came here to get a 5 mile run in and it has a beautiful beach front with lots of sand. It's 5 miles from Pointe Park to the end of the sidewalk and back. The sidewalk follows the beach with lots of historical facts along the way. I wish I could have seen some of the houses that got destroyed by Katrina but all of the beachfront houses were well maintained and gorgeous. This place is beautiful! The panoramic views of the Mississippi Sound, the sound and sights of pelicans, herrings and seagulls with a very nice walking trail, picnic tables and an open air amphitheater make this a great place to enjoy nature. The walkway continues all the way down Beach Blvd. to the Pascsgoula Beach Park! Only a few joggers have discovered this new place so far. I love this place, my only wish is that they fix one of the docks they have out there, they’ve done a ton of work on it and I even bring my dogs down there sometimes, you can fish of the peer or launch your boat there. you can also chill at the beach or in your car!
