Beach Park Fishing Pier — Local services in Pascagoula

Very nice parking lot; very pleasant views of the water. But someone please explain to me...the chronic blaring of music by various visitors on a nearly constant basis, either simply through open windows, or worse, via mega sub-woofers. The serenity is pretty much shattered about every 10-15 minutes, morning, noon or night. And it's every genre, too. I've heard blaring country music, blaring R&B, blaring Top-40, blaring hip-hop, blaring Mariachi music, etc., coming out of tricked-out trucks, golf carts, would-be sports cars, everything under the sun. Why do people do this? Especially in a crowded, shared parking lot for people just trying to have a quiet, peaceful, relaxing moment or two by the shore. Don't believe me? Go check it out...

Great beach. Plenty of room for fishing for everyone. The water seems pretty shallow there where the pier is located. Not sure about all the fish in this area. There us a beach here as well. Water is some water dirty but that has more to do with barrier islands and ship yard than anything else. There is a park right across the road for pucnics. There are picnic tables on beach as well. Nice to visit open air with walking paths, boat ramps, piers, rock shoreline, large lighted paved parking lot. There are concrete sitting/stepping walls, large grass mound (careful of the sand spurs) if you decide to roll down the hill. Native grasses & plants. Huge shipyard across the mouth but no unpleasant smells or excessive noise pollution. Pet friendly people friendly. Wish I lived closer would be...
