I didn't even know this park existed! We found it as we walked along the river path from Chiawana Park. Wade Park is a very nice park along the river just down from Wade Island. It was was built sometime in the 90's so it's trees are small to midsize which doesn't give a lot of shade but this park is still one of the greenest places I've ever seen in the Tri-Cities. There are a lot of benches and bench swings along the path and in the park itself, the path widens into three painted lanes, one for pedestrians, and two for bikes flowing in both directions. It also has a small boat dock area that I saw people using mainly for paddle boards and kayaks. The only drawback to this park is that it has a single port-a-potty for a bathroom.

This park has a very wide paved multi-lane path to accomodate both cyclists and pedestrians in a peaceful manner. Wide swaths of open grassy areas and plenty of beach access offer unimpeded views of the mighty Columbia River. The waterfowl provide endless entertainment for birdwatchers, and on some days the majestic bald eagles, our nations mascot, will grace passersby with their presence. They can be seen feasting on salmon retrieved from the cold waters which are the lifeblood of this great place in which we live. Several swinging benches have been provided to parkgoers in memory of people who have gone before us.

This is a Great park for everyone. Two lane bike path and a walk/run lane. Distance markers and habitat info and plenty of benches to take in the view. Plenty or parking, and with the boat launch easily accessible, makes Wade Park jus an amazing place to take the whole family.

I went out here with my sister, rode the seado all day.. The water was cold, but it was a really hot day, the property is kept very clean and in Shape.. A ton of wildlife, and islands to get away from the madness.. It is the perfect place to take my English Labrador, and let him jump in and fetch his toys.. One drawback is the boat ramp serves as a holding place for some and it was hard trying to get out of there as people were camped out on the dock wit their large water crafts.. All in all, it is beautiful and relaxing for...
