I didn't even know this park existed! We found it as we walked along the river path from Chiawana Park. Wade Park is a very nice park along the river just down from Wade Island. It was was built sometime in the 90's so it's trees are small to midsize which doesn't give a lot of shade but this park is still one of the greenest places I've ever seen in the Tri-Cities. There are a lot of benches and bench swings along the path and in the park itself, the path widens into three painted lanes, one for pedestrians, and two for bikes flowing in both directions. Wide swaths of open grassy areas and plenty of beach access offer unimpeded views of the mighty Columbia River. The waterfowl provide endless entertainment for birdwatchers, and on some days the majestic bald eagles, our nations mascot, will grace passersby with their presence. Read moreI went out here with my sister, rode the seado all day.. The water was cold, but it was a really hot day, the property is kept very clean and in Shape.. A ton of wildlife, and islands to get away from the madness.. It is the perfect place to take my English Labrador, and let him jump in and fetch his toys.. One drawback is the boat ramp serves as a holding place for some and it was hard trying to get out of there as people were camped out on the dock wit their large water crafts..
