This Park had plenty of room, parking and activities.
With entrances to parking from both Circleville Rd and Valley Vista Rd, your visit to this Park is determined by the direction from which you come. Both ends each have a large playground and a pavilion.
The Valley Vista entrance brings you directly to the baseball/softball field, same volleyball court, tennis courts and regulation size bocce ball pit.
The Circleville entrance offers immediate access to the basketball court and the starting point for the nice-hole disc golf course which is in the middle of the park between the two entrances.
There is a walking/running path that goes through and around the entire park. Along the south path there are three exercise apparatus to work some of your other muscles on each lap you traverse.
For those of you who participate in mobile gaming, there are two gyms and many Pokestops for Pokemon Go enthusiasts. Jurassic Park Alive players will also find this Park to have a large amount of green Supply Drops that also feature rare and epic dinosaur.
There is no disappointment in finding something to do here. Also note, especially for those of us who need to go more often than others, there are petals restroom facilities in each parking...
Read moreThis park is conveniently located between Valley Vista Drive and Circleville Rd in the Park Forest neighborhood of State College. With multiple playgrounds, a paved cycling path, tennis and basketball courts, pavilions, a disc golf course, and hiking trails, Circleville Park has a lot to offer in terms of recreation. The park and pavilions are very neatly maintained. What I like about Circleville Park is how removed it feels from the surrounding areas. The circumference of the park is largely consumed by woods. The park itself is gently rolling hills, nestled away among the farm fields and the woods. For an escape that still feels like home, I strongly recommend taking a cycle, walk, or jog around Circleville and enjoying the quiet serenity of this...
Read moreThis is nice, well-maintained municipal park. Has a couple of playgrounds, basketball court, volleyball area w/sand, baseball diamond, workout machines, pavilions, frisbee golf course (I think 9 currently, but I think its being upgraded to 18 hole soon), soccer fields, and a mile-marked asphalt running/walking path that also connects to other running trails (Patton Woods Natural Rec Area).
I think that this is the largest park for those in the Park Forest area. I come here to run with the AdoraMonster (the doggo) and am very pleased with the upkeep, parking, and features of this park. There are dog waste bag posts around the park that seem to be well-stocked. Super happy with this park and would always...
