This lake is beautiful, absolutely stunning. Not much for fishing but then again that's probably the fisherman not the fish lol. This lake has a very dusty and poorly Maintained dirt and gravel road that leads to it and so on a atv or sxs your going to be dusted out without a doubt. Water trucks every other hour could fix that. The lake itself has decent parking but in an ever growing world there is never enough parking. There are multiple pull offs right before the main boat launch at the end of the road that a person could get a more private experience by climbing down the many washes to the waters edge but it is a hike for sure. Beautiful trees and scenery with cool clean water. Lots of rock on the shoreline and rock in the water past the shoreline so bring your water...

The lake is absolutely beautiful and is a must see. The knoll in the middle of the lake has a few trees that Bald Eagles and Osprey love to hang out on. Sometimes you’ll even see them dive for a fish. This lake is stocked with a couple different types of trout, however, I never got a single bite.

Great place for paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks. The drive back to the lake does take some time and is almost all grated dirt road. Watch your tires on the sharp rocks and it may be sketchy in some places. Animals are allowed on a leash and there are some good places to sit along...

Cars and SxS were lining the road, and the parking lots were at capacity. The Park Ranger was out in an unmarked SxS. He was pulling people over for having safety lights or any other light accessory on...
