Cherry U-Pick at Third Coast Fruit Co. — Attraction in Peninsula Township

*Read all * This place sounds like they have Cherries down to a science! They are working on apples. So much potential! Great location. I'm not even sure you could call what I had a donut This would be a great stop with kids on the way up to the lighthouse.

After the response. Given this is the first fall. I have changed my stars to 3 and edited my review. I can understand about about the trees. It takes time. I hit on average 10-15 cider mills each year with some numerous times. Not a Blake's fan (very large and popular cider mill/wine/brewery in my area). It's just to big for me. Doesn't give me that cider mill feel. That with time is something you can have. Has you have obviously done with the cherries. When I come back up to the area. I will come back. What an excellent U-Pick experience. First off 3 varieties of cherries here, sweet red, rainier, and a tart cherry. The trees are interspersed so it's easy to bounce between the varieties. Brought our dog, since we were here on vacation, and it was very easy to pick with her on a leash. The orchard has step ladders every so often so if you want to move it to pick the perfect bunch you can. They take Venmo, Zelle, and cash. You pay by the pound and you can eat them as you pick right off the tree.

There were some rad kids who helped us pay and check out. 10/10 for service here!

Fantastic view and experience! My husband and I stumbled onto this u-pick because I was looking for flowers but we found out that it was the cherries that were ready instead.

The ladies working were so sweet and helpful in answering questions and giving us directions and greeted us as soon as we got there. They provide bags for picking which is perfect for a spontaneous visit! The parking here is simple and the orchard is right next to it, so it’s pretty accessible for families of all ages and stages.

Seriously a great hidden gem only 5 minutes up the peninsula with the most incredible views (and the cherries are awesome too!)
