Harbor View Nursery And Lavender Farm — Attraction in Peninsula Township

I just stopped here on a whim, and boy, what an awesome place! Being a farmer myself downstate, I am always interested in the different types of agriculture wherever I go, so seeing a lavender farm was something that piqued my interest. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I could go check out the lavender fields and the drying barn! The lady working there was very pleasant and interesting to talk to. Absolutely beautiful lavender and cherry farm. Harbor View has multiple locations and we first stopped at their empire location on our way west from traverse city and picked a bundle of lavender and then when we headed up the traverse city peninsula we had to stop and pick some cherries which was such a fun experience for adults and kids alike. They also have amazing made on their farm gifts in the shop and homemade baked goods with cherry’s in them that are grown there.

I would highly recommend anyone stop here even if it is just to walk around and look at all the beautiful flowers and smell...

OMG the lavender was amazing. Stopped in here on a whim traveling back south. Saw the beautiful purple (our favorite color) and just had to stop. I've never seen so much lavender being grown like this. So beautiful. We wandered among the plants, considered buying one (not enough room in the car) but bought some lavender ice cream (Vanilla and honey and lavender). Just delicious.
