After reading the reviews our mouths were watering to try the rack of lamb and prime rib. Well WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! LAMB had barely any flavor if it wasn't for the mushroom sauce . As for the prime rib well all I can say is was asked how I would like it cooked I replied med-rare. When meal arrived it was med-well and I was told that was the closest they could get to medium rare because they char broil it. So why ask me how I want it only to tell me after they can't accommodate. It looked more like a delmonico steak then prime rib. Waitress said she'd be happy to take it off my bill but would have to charge me for my starch and vegetable. WOW Some Anniversary dinner. Over priced old time restaurant that has a chef who doesn't know how to cook. As far as friendliness bartender and waitress were friendly but nothing special. Our bill was over 80 with only 2 drinks a piece. I would of thought after saying it was our 21st anniversary they would want us to enjoy the establishment a little more. THINK TWICE BEFORE WASTING YOUR TIME...

I would love to give this place 5 stars, I have to hold back for 1 reason from what I felt from 2 different employees. Starting with the older women, the host. She politely asked if we had a reservation, my response was a, no. At that second, with m the look on her face was the most judgmental I've ever felt in my life. Once we were taken to our seat the gentleman that was clearing the table, gave us the same feeling that I was well underdressed and should not be in this establishment. Once our waitress greeted us we felt better, Wendy reaffirm us and made us feel welcome. Without her this would be more of a one star. The food was outstanding but besides Wendy and how good the food was, I can hardly recommend this place. I understand there is a huge employee shortage, everyplace is affected by this in some fashion, but if you hostess is affecting your business in a negative fashion it may be time to part ways and find a younger more energetic person that is the usually the first impression of...

FANTASTIC FOOD DRINK & SERVICE. We had our 1 year anniversary dinner on our first visit to Old Mission Tavern. Our server, Meg, was an absolute gem. She suggested the perfect wine pairing for my meal. The escargot was perfectly prepared and unbelievably delectable, the crabcakes were moist and the sauce was delicious, the foccassia was aromatic and unmatched. I got the tortellini with shrimp (per server suggestion) and the Alfredo sauce... OH MY GOSH.. THE ALFREDO!!!! I have never had Alfredo sauce that perfectly creamy, smooth, and flavorful in my entire life. Absolute chefs kiss. My husband had the prime rib which he says had amazing seasoning and flavor, cooked perfectly, and a hefty portion size. The mashed potatoes that came as his side were truly homemade style and felt like heaven. The entire restaurant is also an art gallery. So, as you eat artfully crafted food, you are surrounded by beautiful locally created art. We love this place and will return at the earliest...

Stopped in for a post-snowshoe snack. Both the Chicken and Beef Noodle Soups were out of this world good. Artichoke dip to die for and the Key Lime Pie off the charts! Our waitress Lily was super friendly, helpful and nice. Will definitely be back for a main course entree. The dinner menu was over the top - not what you’d expect for a place so far north on the peninsula. Super reasonable prices to top it off! Definitely worth the trip!

Lovely little lunch spot! What a delightful find! Focused lunch menu, bu what options there are are beautifully prepared. Even two options for veggie burgers, which was very nice. Staff attentive and super friendly, and s pleasant surprise to find prices very reasonable--impossible burger, chips, coleslaw, with soup and ice tea, all for $16. The attached art gallery and sun porch make it an especially beautiful place, too!!

A lovely spot in a lovely setting! Gorgeous drive past plenty of orchards and vinyards, plenty of parking. Kind, attentive staff. Amazing food at good prices. We tried the escargot, prime rib, and rack of lamb. Their warm foccocia bread tasted amazing. Plenty of diverse, local, original art to look at, apparently the owner is also an artist. Great covid porcedures. I'd love to go back on a day with even nicer weather!
