Nice 1.4 mile trail, they offer an unpaved trail to the quarry, and they do a have paved trail that does connect to the towpath and bike trail. It's not a difficult trekking path, although it does have a couple of good 25 grades inclines. Definitely wear a good pair of hikers or trek sandals and grab your poles. They do offer wheelchair accessible parking and paved trail. They also offer out house facilities. Good signage and exhibits pointing out artifacts and the human and natural history of the surrounding area. Be careful around the rim of the quarry. Keep an eye on children in this area.
