We have been getting our Christmas trees here for years but this review is regarding their pumpkin pandemonium. I was very disappointed! First the five dollar charge for each activity per person gets to be ridiculous. There aren’t that many activities for the kids to do in the children’s section. in my opinion that area should be free just to keep the kids busy. But five dollars per hayride, five dollars per scavenger hunt, five dollars per playing in the children’s section for a family of four ends up being $60 for a couple hours. We go to Luther’s Farm Market several times throughout the fall season and it’s five dollars per person for everything. So for $20 we can have just as much if not more fun; whereas Heritage Farms cost $60. The pumpkins were much more expensive at Heritage also. Finally, the gentleman in the ticket booth was rude and a bit condescending. Gave us a reason to leave before even paying but we already promised the children. I will say the youth who work there were so sweet making up for...
Read moreWent last weekend. Staff was great. Very helpful and readily available to help with all the traffic they had. Staff gets 5 stars!
That being said, selection to cut your own was awful...I give that zero stars. They should tell you all the trees suck before you trek all they way into a muddy mess with kids. Walked around the entire field and not a single one would have made the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. They had a ton of perfectly shaped precut trees so we got one of those. Disappointed we couldn’t cut one down since our girls love the experience. Plus they charge you more for a precut than cut your own....conveniently!
Precut tree is a 4 star, but a bit overpriced. Would be 5 star if not for the added charge to precut it and being overpriced. Same tree at Home Depot is $40-50...but at least the kids get outside for a bit so...
Read moreHeritage Farms is a fantastic spot for fall activities, and we had a great experience there. The Corn Maze, which seems deceptively simple at first, turned out to be more challenging than expected, making it a fun puzzle for everyone involved. The scenery was absolutely beautiful—fall in the Cuyahoga Valley area really enhances the experience with its vibrant colors.
There are plenty of activities suitable for all ages, making it a great destination for families or groups. From hayrides to scavenger hunts, and even a Kidzone with various games, there's something for everyone. The day pass is reasonably priced, and considering all the activities it includes, it's definitely worth the cost. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend setting aside a full day to explore everything the...
