East Park — Attraction in Petoskey

Went to Petoskey to see the fall foliage and discovered this quaint but stunning park across the street from our hotel. The trails are beautiful & well-kept, the trail we took has a gorgeous pavilion with a small waterfall & stream leading into beautiful Lake Michigan. The park is free, complete with restrooms, a new parking lot, a large pavilion for your family gatherings, picnic tables, public grills, and a playground. The grounds work & foliage is immaculate. Stunning views my goodness! This place is nicely kept up and looks new, although I don't actually know when this park was built, or renovated. There is a plent of parking, a play set, picnic tables under a structure (with that amazing view), and a separate building with bathrooms. Because we visited in late April the bathrooms were still locked but I bet they'll be open soon. A great spot right off of US 31 North, just north of Bay Harbor, and on the same side of road...

East Park is a beautiful site that is full of great opportunities. The swing set would be a perfect place to bring the kids and have a nice night as a family. The pavilion offers great place to sit down and have a nice meal with a large group of people.
