St Aloysius Pewee Valley — Attraction in Pewee Valley

I love this parish. I go to Saturday morning mass and confession here. Fr. John, the pastor of St. Aloysius, is a deeply selfless and caring man. I am having surgery tomorrow, and Fr. John agreed to come to the hospital, hear my confession, and anoint me before my procedure. The compassion and care Father has for his flock, even for people like me who are not regular and heavily involved parishioners, is overwhelming and a true blessing. Moreover, every time I have gone to mass at St. Aloysius, the community has been kind, welcoming, and has shown a deep love for and devotion to the Lord. This is a fantastic church, in a small community. Every year they have a Catholic picnic. We attended for the third year in a row. The games are easy to play and win, we ate and left with a car full of prizes, for under $50. Parking is free, and the atmosphere is very warm...
