Read moreThis is a nice place to take your kids and family to for a picnic but keep in mind that it's extra dry they don't water that much so the grass is dead and there is very little to few trees that they've planted. So the shade is very limited. They do have a pavilion that you can rent out for a birthday parties or special events in the pavilion they have restrooms and they have water fountains and then they have a place next to the bathrooms where you can wash up your full body or your hands or your feet if you plan on swimming in the small Beach that they've made. You can also bring in your small boat or or or or or or watercraft and pull it right into the dock. There's plenty of parking the hours are from dawn to 10:00 p.m. daily. It's a great place to go for a walk to walk your dog or whatever. It's also a very busy place especially on the weekends. Read more👟This lake is about 3 miles, so it makes for a nice 5K for runners.
🐕🦺It is dog friendly and there are doggy bags and trash cans along the lake. There's also enough space that dogs can maintain their distance from one another along the trail. There's a doggie water fountain at one of the corners of the lake.
🏊♀️There's a small beach area, but no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk.
🛝 There's a playground, bathrooms, and seating by the beach area.
🛶 You can rent kayaks and paddle boards to take on the lake. There's wildlife like ducks, egrets, and herons that wade around the lake.
🎣There are also frequently people fishing. There are many piers and docks to take advantage of.
Overall, there is a lot to do and see here. Makes for a great picnicking spot, but you might want to bring your own...
