Emerald Room — Attraction in Philadelphia

I cannot say enough about my experience with The Emerald Room and Catering by Marios! At the time of my event (my Dad's 80th birthday celebration), I worked directly with an extraordinary event planner, Patti, -- she is phenomenal! She was armed with an arsenal of tips and ideas on how to arrange and set up the decor for the party.

Patti put me at ease during the entire planning process and was extremely responsive, thoughtful and considerate of my time, as I was planning everything from out of state. The Emerald Room has a top of the line PA and sound system. The lighting and up-lighting in the room was great. The entire staff was very attentive to my needs, as well as those of my guests.

Now, let's talk about the food. . . I always say that the best parts of any event are the music and the food -- Catering by Marios exceeded my expectations!! My family and friends could not stop talking about how delicious AND flavorful the food was, from the hors d'oeuvres to the main course. The food was cooked onsite and the wonderful Chef Mario was in the kitchen with his team early that morning!! The food was served buffet style. It was fresh and hot. I had the most amazing experience at The Emerald Room and would highly recommend this venue to everyone that is planning an event, big or small.

We recently hosted my mom’s 70th birthday celebration at the Emerald Room, catered by Mario’s, and it was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, the experience was seamless—largely thanks to the incredible event planner, Patti Akamski. Patti was a true pleasure to work with: sweet, kind, understanding, and highly professional. From our very first meeting, I knew we were in great hands. Her knowledge and attention to detail ensured that everything came together beautifully.

The venue itself is gorgeous and meticulously maintained, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The food was outstanding—every guest raved about it—and the service was top-notch. The bartenders, servers, and staff were all friendly, efficient, and professional throughout the evening.

I highly recommend the Emerald Room and Mario’s Catering to anyone looking for a stunning venue and an exceptional team. I would gladly host another event here...

I had my sister’s metastatic breast cancer fundraiser event at the Emerald room! We had such an amazing experience. Patti and all the staff were so professional and attentive to all of our needs.
