First time at the Northeast campus to see a counselor regarding two programs at the college. The building is beautiful but the staff and the counselor that I seen were awful. She spent but 2 mins with me. As soon as I stepped into her office she told me she had a meeting at 12 noon, which was in 5 mins. What the hell was the point in calling me back if you only had 5 mins to give to a student. She looked at my records, told me I meet the requirements and to just fill out an application and send it in. She was annoyed and looked at me with an attitude when I asked a question. I’m not sure if she’s the only counselor at that campus but if you need to speak to a counselor don’t waste your time with her. She wasn’t pleasant or helpful at all. If you don’t want to go to main to see a counselor I highly suggest you go to the northwest campus. The male counselor I spoke to there took his time to talk to me, went over which option would best fit what I was looking for and gave me suggestions. Did not look or talk down to me. Horrible service. People are so rude. I’ve been taking summer classes here for two years, and every year it has been a struggle. People on the phone are constantly rude and are too lazy to do their job. I had a question for Debbie at the admissions center over the phone, and she told me to look it up instead of doing her job and giving me the information. I asked her politely once again, and she put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. Workers at CCP in the center city are very much aware of how rude the workers at the Northeast CCP...

If you are planning to send your child to school I would wait until the school is open after the covid restrictions. I paid 1,700.00 for my son to get assignments to complete that did not have any instructor time to explain the work. It was here is your work, now go do it. He got so frustrated with not knowing how to complete the work he gave up. I am going to demand a full refund for a service of a service not provided.
