Pennypack Park is a true Philly gem, with over 8 miles of walking trails, picnic areas, fishing, and untouched nature, that cuts thru the Northeast section of Philadelphia. Very therapeutic for depression Anxiety or just getting away from the stress of the city.

My kids and I love this park. Everyone is very friendly and dog friendly. Nice for the kids to play by the creek and throw rocks or walk aside it... depending where you're at but even to sit and hang out it's got a nice view and relaxing setting.

Such a beautiful park. It’s well maintained and clean. The paths are clear and the creek is so soothing to look at. The water is clear and there’s lots of trout in there. Easy to walk trails. There’s parking on the Pine Road side.

I'm from Maryland visiting my sister and she recommended this trail. Firstly, it is beautiful! The stream is fairly clean and the trail is nice and dry even after a rain. Though I was very surprised to learn it was some sort of dog park! Luckily most of the dogs were very friendly (Save for one who wasn't afraid to say hello. Unfortunately my dog isn't a fan of other dogs running up to us haha, but it was fine.) In Maryland the atmosphere is completely different, the park police litter every trail looking for off leash dogs lol! A great place for a splash in the water with your pup! If I lived here I would also absolutely do some...

I love this park, it connects to so many other trails throughout NE Philly and somehow it still manages to be just as beautiful as it was when I was a kid. The only downside is the amount of people who frequent there that have no respect for nature and all of her beauty. There's trash, people treating the land like it's the ghetto which is upsetting but you can tell they try to keep up with it still. Weird thing I've noticed though is the birds, or should I say have NOT noticed. That place used to be booming with all sorts of variations and you would hear them simultaneously together, now it seems too quiet-...

Nice place to take a walk or a bike ride or just sit on the bench n relax, enjoy, if you go to the end of pennypack at pine road, cross the street n walk into beautiful lorimer park, go down the trail into the picnic area, cross the bridge follow the path around n up to the top n look out from above, bring a bike n ride, discover the whole paved path, its about an hour ride round trip from end to end, but take it slow n...
