I'm from Maryland visiting my sister and she recommended this trail. Firstly, it is beautiful! The stream is fairly clean and the trail is nice and dry even after a rain. Though I was very surprised to learn it was some sort of dog park! Luckily most of the dogs were very friendly (Save for one who wasn't afraid to say hello. Unfortunately my dog isn't a fan of other dogs running up to us haha, but it was fine.) Read moreI love this park, it connects to so many other trails throughout NE Philly and somehow it still manages to be just as beautiful as it was when I was a kid. The only downside is the amount of people who frequent there that have no respect for nature and all of her beauty. There's trash, people treating the land like it's the ghetto which is upsetting but you can tell they try to keep up with it still.
