It's not just a statue... There are TONS of prairie dogs around and you can feed them! Some of them are timid and won't get within arm's length... Others will take the peanut right out of your hand. I even had one little guy who untied my shoelace and tried to steal my laces!!! Then nibbled a bit on my shoe and then my shorts... don't worry though, they seem very very harmless and never bit me... Think they're just exploring new things...great experience!!
