Barrier Free Nature Trail - Parking Lot — Attraction in Phoenix

Great beginner walk for families like ours who aren't used to getting out of doors very often; true to it's name

The trail doesn't looks pretty sad from the road-just dirt and odd buildings, but when you go further in the trees grow together and enclose you in a little nature wonderland. Nice loop trail that takes about 35 minutes to walk. It was easy to walk with a stroller, only a short 15 foot section that dipped and was covered with sand that could be an issue for some. There’s a nice little pond around the halfway point.

Biggest negative is the noise from Tatum when you start and there are no bathrooms...

Easy trail. Flat. Great for beginners or just to get a some fresh air. Has a nice pond about 3/4 mile in with wild ducks and supports a small habitat of other animals.
