Long review, but worth the read!! lol I just had to take the time to write this review since I keep forgetting to after every visit and felt the need to praise their hard work and love they put onto their business. If you truly want actual Arizona made and designed souvenirs by an extremely talented Arizonan, Eyeconic Arizona Souvenir Shop is the place to be! At the heart of Arizona in a fast-growing, culturally rich area in downtown Phoenix—just a few minutes from the 51 Freeway and 15 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport—this family-owned business is the perfect quick stop before or after your flight. With plenty of parking right in front, you won’t have to stress about where to park or paying for parking. Which is always a relief for me!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. Albert, the owner, has a rare and refreshing passion for his craft and an authentic interest in every customer’s journey. Unlike most business owners, he takes the time to get to know you, making the shopping experience feel personal and memorable. The store itself is spacious, well-organized, and beautifully laid out, featuring a cool world and U.S. map where customers can pin their hometown—a special touch that truly shows appreciation for visitors.
What sets Eyeconic apart is the quality and authenticity of the products. Every customized souvenir is locally designed and manufactured by Albert himself—an incredibly talented Arizona-born artist. As an designer myself, I was eager to pick his brain, and to my surprise, he gladly gave me a behind-the-scenes tour of his shop, explaining his meticulous design and production process. The level of dedication, craftsmanship, and love that goes into each piece is mind-blowing. It’s rare to find a business where the owner is this hands-on and excited about sharing his work.
Beyond the incredible shopping experience, Eyeconic’s prime location is another bonus. It’s right across the street from some delicious local restaurants, and thanks to the new street crosswalk with lighted street signals, it’s safe and easy to explore the area on foot.
What truly impressed me the most? In just a little over a year since opening at the end of 2023, Eyeconic Arizona Souvenir Shop has already earned over 1,000 five-star Google reviews—and all through word of mouth! Albert proudly shared that he doesn’t pay for advertising; his business thrives because customers genuinely love their experience and go out of their way to leave positive reviews. That kind of organic growth speaks volumes.
Their website is live, and while they’re still working on expanding their online inventory, they’re diligently adding more items for shipping and pickup. Albert even mentioned they’re hiring for various positions as they continue to grow—such an exciting time for this small business!
I’ve been here multiple times during business trips to Arizona, and it’s been amazing to see how much they’ve grown. There’s something truly special about supporting someone’s dream and vision, and Eyeconic Arizona Souvenir Shop is the definition of that. Highly recommend!
Big shoutout to Albert and his amazing team—your dedication, passion, and hospitality make this shop...
Read moreIf you’re lookin’ for a real-deal Arizona souvenir shop that won’t break the bank, Eyeconic Arizona Souvenirs in Phoenix is about as good as it gets. It’s got all the charm you’d want in a local shop—cute setup, friendly folks, and shelves packed with everything from cactus-themed trinkets to high-quality gifts that actually feel like they belong in Arizona, not just some generic tourist stop.
What really sets this place apart is the price. You walk into most souvenir shops and feel like you’re gettin’ fleeced, but here? You can grab a handful of gifts and still leave with money in your pocket. It’s refreshing, to say the least.
Now, if there’s any knock against it, it’s the size. It’s a little tight inside, and if more than a few folks show up at once, you’re gonna feel it. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, too, especially if you’re not lucky enough to grab a close spot.
That said, for what it is—affordable, well-stocked, and full of character—it’s a solid four-star spot. If you’re in Phoenix and want something better than airport-priced junk, this is...
Read moreI am changing my original review because they do not ever answer their Facebook messages and that is very frustrating to say the least. I will go back there, but I will not spend half as much money as I would have done ordinarily on a second visit. I will just go get the bare minimum that I need and then I will just leave and that would have been different if they would’ve just taken a minute to read and respond to a message that I sent on Facebook. I know they are busy, but we all know that impressions count and well my first one was a good experience, not taking a second to reach out to an inquiry is a...
