This is a good place for a get together, with room for frisbee, or volleyball. There is a couple of small ponds, restrooms, and a playground area if I remember correctly. A fairly secluded place, there is a parking lot and parking along the street, it is well maintained with grass and concrete walkways (the grass appears to be under watered, and needs some fertilizer). Lots of room for kids to play, but there could be some improvements here to really make it great! The ponds could really use some form of airiation. I would recommend this place for a family get together or other type of party, as there is lots of room and good amount of space that helps keep it a private atmosphere. It is dog friendly and there are some Mallard ducks that seem to make it thier home. Saw some people fishing in the NE (upper pond) but not sure what fish are in the pond. Nice bronze statue near the street, (sorry, forgot to take pictures). The trees are not old growth trees, but are middle aged and there are a fair amount scattered around. There are trash and recycle bins placed around the park, could probably use a few more. The city needs to spend some money on this park for improvements. Not sure if they paid for the large bronze statue, but if they did, the money would have been better spent on picnic tables and shade shelters and bbq fixtures. This is my second time here, first time was at least 6 years ago or so, there doesn't seem to be any real improvements, statue maybe. I have to downgrade my 4 star...

This is my favorite park. It's so beautiful and extremely peaceful. We always have such a good time. It never really gets packed or anything cause it's kind of hidden. Most people don't know about it. My husband found it on accident when he got lost. It's a special hidden gem. I love that I don't have to worry about cars driving by or my son running into the street. The only problem I have is that lots of people bring their dogs here and lots of them don't have leashes on. I don't care how "well behaved" your dog is, if you're at a public park you should have a leash on your dog. My son has gotten scared because a big dog ran up to him really fast. I hate to see him worry about that stuff, especially at a park where he's supposed to be having fun. Anywho, we highly recommend this park to anyone looking to have fun or just have some quiet time. There's plenty of room and it's never loud, no matter how many people are there. Oh, and it's ALWAYS clean and pretty. The lakes add a nice views and make for amazing pictures. There are plenty of trees to hang out under to get...

This park is a true gem that caters to both man's best friend and nature enthusiasts alike. With its expansive green spaces and two serene bodies of water, it's the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, jog, or game of fetch with your four-legged companion.

The charming quacks and playful antics of the ducks add an extra layer of whimsy and charm to the already picturesque scenery. Observing your furry pal trying to make friends with these feathered creatures is just one of the many delights that this park offers.

The tranquil atmosphere of this park is perfect for unwinding and disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With plenty of room to roam, it's easy to find a quiet spot to sit, relax, and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.

Overall, this park is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a serene and enchanting outdoor experience with their...

I guess I’d kind of have to consider this my park because the dogs and I come up here every single day to walk. The lakes are serene and they’re usually ducks or Canadian geese or even great blue herons around to make things even a little bit more interesting. We even have some sculpture here which is unusual for parks in Phoenix. People are friendly and the sunrise and sunset is unbeatable. There’s picnic tables, barbecues, and even restrooms which are open (sometimes) it’s a great place for families on weekends and pretty much anytime. Plenty of parking in the parking lot and in the surrounding areas also and part of the park is even desert so if you have a taste for Sahuaros, prickly pear, baby cholla etc., etc. it’s a great place to visit!

Whether lounging with friends, enjoying a family picnic, or simply seeking a quiet escape, Granada Park offers a tranquil oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle. The well-maintained green spaces and proximity to the Arizona Canal Trail add to its charm. It's a perfect destination for unwinding and connecting with nature in the heart of Phoenix.
