Such a magnificent place. The icons and the ceiling are breathtaking with how ornate they are. And of course they're hosting of the Greek festival is a must-see for everyone. Personally, my first pick will be the Loukoumades (a fried dough ball lathered in honey and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar) before they run out. Traditional Greek dancing for you to see, attractions for kids, and of course there is a plethora of food to experience from dolmathes, to souvlaki, to moussaka, and gyros. It's a very popular event so plan for alot of people and a hunt for parking. Well worth it though.

Loved the Greek festival. Great food and friendly atmosphere. I wish they had these more often. Love the lamb. The one pictured was a shank and it was very good. There was a different vendor that was cooking a whole lamb rotisserie style and sold lamb pieces and rice. That was the best dish I ate in weeks. Outstanding

I went the day of the festival. The cathedral is gorgeous. There were a few people standing by to answer questions. There were posters placed that also gave information about the church and the Greek Orthodox religion.

So, I've been mulling this for a bit... If you've never been to the annual Greek fest, and especially if you've never been to Hellas, you should go! There are few really great Greek restaurants in the valley, and actually some of the best Mediterranean are owned by Jordanian or Syrian families (and yes, those I know are Orthodox)! ... My issue was after the festival, which is only available to members and friends (I've attended services, but did not attend school here; but, have many friends who have and was in attendance with one such). But, having a two year old who I've been pondering sending... this has been weighing upon me. It was just that I have recent neurological damage and my friend (a member) was trying to remind me of the joy of dancing... yet we were approached and challenged by a giagia. I understand she was defending the tribe, but I also felt quite diminished because she just presumed I was drunk or not Greek, based upon my inability to move my feet to the dance properly at the moment. I just have never experienced that at home, nor on the isles and it makes me question whether I wish my child to possibly experience that... I honestly don't know if she's representative, but it struck me. And, if you're wondering, my surname is an Ellis...

The cornerstone of the Orthodox Church is the participation of the parishioners during the service...Liturgy means the work of the people. During our service you sense this work via the beautiful choir, skilled chanters, and the response from the pews. I did not give us a five star rating since many of us are not responding to the priest enough during the service. To be a true work of the people, all must respond to the priest with Lord have Mercy, Amen, singing the hymns, etc. It is this exchange between the parishioners and the clergy which makes it a true work of the people. It is like going to a job, collecting a paycheck, and drinking coffee all day. To be truly Orthodox, all must be at work in praising...

I am Orthodox and brought my co-worker to your Church because it is closer to where she lives than the one I attend. She is an inquirer and came away in "awe" of the prayerful and reverent service that she witnessed. From Father Hill's angelic voice and moving homily, to the friendly greeter and parishioners.....I couldn't have been more pleased with our experience among all of you at Holy Trinity Cathedral! This was her first experience with Orthodox Worship.....and I am thankful to God that her tender and open heart was ministered to by the Holy Spirit through His Church in such a profound way. Thank...
