There are no amenities. Just a huge network of perfectly maintained trails in the mountains overlooking the city of Phoenix. That said, there is something for every skill level. My only complaint is that the signs requesting that hikers pick up after their pets, does not seem to apply to horses! But it's not so bad that I would have to take a star away. This is truly a hikers Paradise.

I love this hiking trail, it is a steady climb almost the entire way and makes for beautiful views of all of the North East and North West part of the valley and at the summits a view of the South Mountain valley between the peaks. This trail has about 5 false summits, which are still pretty too, no matter your endurance levelšŸ’“

I'm not an expert but I do climb Echo Trail at Camelback and go to the peak up Piestewa, so please know it takes me 45 to 50 minutes reach the top of this trail. If I go back down the same way, it takes about an hour. But if I take the loop heading east to come back down, it takes about an hour and half back down.
