This was not an internal visit this time, but an outside gathering below the steps to hear the Christmas news of Christ's birth. A pastor brought forth the story and then a young man played his guitar and we sang several Christmas carols. Luminaries lined both sides of the street on Chapel Hill as well as throughout the neighborhood. The sunset was picture perfect, just as I would think it was on the eve of Jesus's birth.
Folks did an awesome job putting it all together for everyone to enjoy.
As for the chapel, events take place here on a pretty regular basis. From weddings, to receptions, to dinners, and some dancing for some events, it is well kept, maintained, and warrants people taking a look at holding their special event here. Times of the year present neat views around the chapel as well as how the sun rises and sets.
