Read moreThis is a great little park for kids! The only downsides are low spots where after it rains fill with water and mud. I say this only because one of my first visits there I slipped and fell in it! Otherwise very lovely and the city sponsored Easter Egg Hunt event that was at the park was fantastic! Great equipment, lots to do and a splash pad in the warmer months that we’ve never tried before! Can’t wait to this summer!
Update: did the splash pad for the first time today and the little guy had a blast! He ran from the playground to the splash pad so many times and had a great couple of hours playing in the water and with some other kiddos who came. If you are unaware like I was- to start the water you push the “button” on top of the short...
Read moreOverall this is a great park. The splash pad is terrific for small kids and there is plenty of play equipment in good condition. The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars is because of the landscaping. The people who mowed the park left the clippings so there are huge piles of grass everywhere and our toddler was covered in it between walking from the splash pad to the playground with wet feet and legs. The piles were so deep it made it hard for him to walk. There were also wasps in the seesaw and I stepped on a wasp at the splash pad but somehow didn’t get stung thankfully. If they could just do a better mowing job and keeping wasps away this would be a 5 star park. Only other recommendation would be to plant another couple of trees...
