This is a great little park for kids! The only downsides are low spots where after it rains fill with water and mud. I say this only because one of my first visits there I slipped and fell in it! Otherwise very lovely and the city sponsored Easter Egg Hunt event that was at the park was fantastic! Great equipment, lots to do and a splash pad in the warmer months that we’ve never tried before! Can’t wait to this summer! Update: did the splash pad for the first time today and the little guy had a blast! He ran from the playground to the splash pad so many times and had a great couple of hours playing in the water and with some other kiddos who came. If you are unaware like I was- to start the water you push the “button” on top of the short yellow post.

I love this place it is family-friendly wheelchair accessible and for the most part, well maintained. There is a restroom that I don't particularly recommend using if you are cleanly. A decently sized jungle gym, a basketball courts, a merry go round, and a splash pad is all featured here.

Kidd had a great time and the park is cleaned and I like taking the kids there because these is a fence around playground and one way in and out. Yes, the fence is probably about almost 5 feet tall.

For a small city park, they have a lot to do. It's a great place and a family favorite! It just needs a few improvements to make the grass less weedy & level out the low spots that are typically muddy.

Activities & Structures -Splash pad (Open in summer months; Jun-Sep) -2 half basketball courts -Concrete walking path around entire park -3 sets of swings (babies/toddlers, handicap, & standard) -Tetter-totter -Merry-go-round -Climbing bars -Large jungle themed playground structure with multiple slides and climbing areas -Exercise stations (2) -Youth music station -Checker/chess board built into a table (2) -Funnel ball

Amenities -Entire park fenced off with 1 entry/exit -Pavilion with 4 picnic tables -Bathroom (Closed during Fall to Spring months: Oct-May) -Public garden beds -Additional picnic tables (4) -Benches (6) -Bike rack -Grill stations (3) -Lighted during the night -Trash cans (4) -10 parking spots plus...

Overall this is a great park. The splash pad is terrific for small kids and there is plenty of play equipment in good condition. The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars is because of the landscaping. The people who mowed the park left the clippings so there are huge piles of grass everywhere and our toddler was covered in it between walking from the splash pad to the playground with wet feet and legs. The piles were so deep it made it hard for him to walk. There were also wasps in the seesaw and I stepped on a wasp at the splash pad but somehow didn’t get stung thankfully. If they could just do a better mowing job and keeping wasps away this would be a 5 star park. Only other recommendation would be to plant another couple of trees...
