Price Historical Park — Attraction in Pismo Beach

Beautiful serenity, quiet and soothing. The trees are fascinating and their shapes twist as if sculptured. Hidden dens can be seen and conjure ideas of the beasts hiding within. Areas to lounge, to have picnics are seen from off the beaten path. Lizards watch as you walk their territory and hawks screech from overhead. A coyote walks out nonchalantly watching you until you move from his view. There are non-gender bathrooms on site....

What a beautiful hidden gem! This park is perfect for a quiet afternoon stroll or picnic. Parking is fabulous, and there are lots of trees and benches to provide comfort. It's tucked away behind a residential neighborhood, but with the view you'd never know it! I even got to see a train come through on the nearby tracks. Our family took a walk here and strolled around the historical buildings, after reading that self guided tours were allowed. Shortly afterwards, a worker from the city of Pismo Beach drove up and retraced everywhere we had just walked.
