My wife and I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of the Terrible Mountain Art Gallery in Pitkin last Friday, and what a delightful experience it was. The gallery exudes an authentic Old Western charm and showcases the work of several truly talented artists. It was refreshing to see such a thoughtful infusion of art and culture in this charming little town. If you’ve never been to Pitkin, you’re missing out. This quaint hidden gem is nestled in a stunning mountain valley at the base of the Rocky Mountain Continental Divide. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but with the addition of this new gallery, there’s now even more reason to visit.
