Jordan Lake State Recreation Area Visitor Center — Attraction in Pittsboro

This was my third time camping here. Probably one of my favorite camping trips of all time. I have friends that I now camp with and we look forward to such adventurous every six weeks or so. We have camped and gone to the beach here. I wish they would hose out the restrooms more frequently. If a campground has a restroom house this needs to be done. I've been to locations that take care of this matter. But the sites are nice. There a ton of mini spots to be alone for fishing and quality family time if the communal areas aren't for you. Totally love this State Park! We paid $60 for a year long parking permit. Definitely worth it, because otherwise the cost is $7 per day. Also, this annual parking permit works at Kerr Lake and Falls Lake. At Jordan Lake, there are many beaches to choose from, with opportunities for camping and fishing as well.
