When I went there, I saw there was a hutch with a hole in it and a rabbit inside. The rabbit was moulting (didn't look like they brushed it based on its rear) and its nails were long and dirty. There was a large pile of feces that looked like it had calcified with urine, and there were some pellets but no hay. I offered to trim the nails for free and groom the bunny since I also have my own rabbits. The young woman took down my number. I called back another day and she handed me to her boss. I spoke with him and again offered to bring hay and groom the rabbit for free. He said no and gave the liability excuse, then I said at least can I bring a pet bed for free since the bunny was mostly on wire, and he said no. I asked what the reason was for that, since that wouldn't involve liability, and he ended the conversation. Read moreI decided to take a walk up here from where I lived one day. I didn't do pick my own apples because I had no way to get them home. But I went into the store and purchased a small assortment of apples that were varieties that I'd never heard of before. The staff are extremely friendly, the store is a nice little country gift store where you can also get ice cream if you're in the mood. When I got home and tasted the apples from that Orchard I was amazed and how wonderful they were! They were nothing like buying apples in a grocery store. They were so fresh and the varieties we're so unique it was almost like going to a wine tasting, but it was Apple tasting instead. If you are ever in Pittsfield, NH and are looking for a good pick your own Orchard to go to, this is...
Read moreSo first off I would like to say I actually found out about this place through the savvy yet well marketed Instagram page! I had to come down here and check it out myself… As a big foodie myself there was a wide variety to provide an eager greeting to your sweet tooth. The ice cream was phenomenal I made sure to try the pistachio which was one of the best I’ve ever had! I was also recommended the maple cream soda they sell there by one of the workers Nhya (it was amazing). I’ve been drinking squamscot since I was a young lad and getting back to my roots and having a taste of nostalgia was just what I needed. I really appreciate the humble attitude and helpfulness of the employees and I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking to get a taste for fall and...
