801 TAG — Attraction in Plain City

Every year we do laser tag for my friends birthday, we have for probably almost ten years now. This was the first year we changed the venue and gave 801 tag a try. They did not disappoint! This is not your typical laser tag, this is as close to call of duty in real life as you can get. the guns are realistic, the course is amazing, and you don't have to be five feet from someone to shoot them. The course is in and outdoors which gives you multiple playing areas. You can hunker down and snipe people, you can run around and shoot people, you have plenty of cover and places to hide, it is just all out fun. The people who own the place are very friendly and helpful and we had a blast hanging out with them. I will be going back much more than once a year, and I will be taking everyone I can with me. I’ve never played Tactical laser tag before in fact I hadn’t ever heard of it. I was amazed at how much fun it was! It is a physical workout. I was surprised that the weapons were laser tag weapons because they were so realistic. The facility looks like an abandoned lab complete with props that include medical cabinets, an exam table, test tubes. We have held several family parties with ages ranging from children to the oldest being 81. They have a very large lounge where you can watch the action on the cameras or reserve their party room. If you haven't been there and want a call of duty like experience I highly recommend it. They aren't like normal lasertag places, they don't have vests and everyone has the same gun. Being able to have a different type of gun was amazing and made it so much more fun! I do wish their store front was a little bit more appealing and the play area was a little bit better set up and defined. However you really can't beat $5 a game.
