I debated writing a review for some time, but given I was a 2025 bride (and out of state) I am hoping it would be helpful for someone else when considering this venue! My overall experience with Jorgensen Oak Grove was positive, but there was a couple of negatives I would like to share: The in-house catering team: We had a good experience with them and we heard from multiple people how much they enjoyed the day of food. I really enjoyed working with the catering manager as she was very organized and attentive. Personally, my family and I were not happy with the food we got at the tasting (most of it was very overcooked) and we decided to special order our protein in for the day of (they also did not set up the venue to resemble what it could look/feel like for a wedding day, which was surprising as well). We over-ordered the proteins to ensure everyone would get enough and the chef confirmed we had more than plenty. We were supposed to get the leftover meals at the end of the night and only ended up with around 5 leftover meals, which were not the protein we over ordered so somehow they disappeared. We also found out the chef was not present for our wedding night even though we spent a lot of time speaking with him about how we wanted everything cooked etc, and then he was not there to oversee it. Overall, we weren't unhappy with it, but we weren't blown away given the price. The in-house floral team: they were incredibly easy to work with and very responsive. I never had difficulty getting ahold of them and adjusting the floral plan based on attendance etc. The one thing I was disappointed with was our day of table designs was not what I had envisioned. The floral in the greenhouse/ceremony site was incredible and I was brown away, which further led to my surprise that the tables were not lush with greenery/floral, which I had iterated a couple of times, and we didn't even use the full budget I had set aside specifically for it. If I would have known, I would have requested to use the full budget to bring my vision to life. Given the large width of the table set up (I wanted a mix of long and round tables) the floral on the long tables looked very minimal and given the height of the table compared to the chairs, the bouquets were in everyone faces, including ours and couldn't be used in the vase since it blocked us from photos for our photographer. It felt like a strange set up given their expertise and how many weddings they do every weekend. The day of coordinator:I really loved Rebecca and she worked so so hard to make our day special. Prior to her, we had another coordinator who was not so good and was very very slow at getting back to us with basic details on the venue. We didn't realize until it was too late that they only offer a day of coordinator, not a planner, so looking back we would have definitely hired a planner (especially being out of state). The tear down crew was very efficient, but did not help load any alcohol into our vehicles (a lot of older people ended up having to help us even though they told us they would), were very pushy to get us out, and it felt very stressful/disorganized to make sure we had everything before leaving. The venue overall is really beautiful and great for weddings to feel more intimate even with larger guest counts. We were not able to get into the venue until 1pm, so it made it really challenging on our family to get our stuff there and then make it back in time before the ceremony. I feel like they are a bit of a burn and churn type of venue where they are focused more on getting people in and out as quickly as possible. Knowing that now, I may have considered another venue to have our wedding at so we didn't have to accommodate all of their restrictions. All to say, their staff works really hard and none of this feedback is meant to mitigate their efforts as I know a lot can be out of...
Read moreOverall it was a great experience but we give it a 3.8-4/5. But there was a large surprise price increase with our food ( dinner food has to be through Jorgensen/ desserts can be out sourced ) that really tainted our experience + altered our budget less than months before the wedding day. Then prior we showed up at the food tasting & were greeted with a completely different menu of options —a new menu options, but we were there to taste the menu options previously we had received months / year prior. And based our budget off of. Also , with the day of the wedding there was a food item not part of what we requested. We asked during the ceremony and they confirmed they changed it —- but yet never told us. If we are paying thousands or dollars on food and you change something / recipe etc without our permission that’s a problem . But As far as food and how it taste … it was good our guest seemed to enjoy it . Now the saving grace was two ladies throughout the process… one being our day of coordinator, she was amazing! She was so helpful leading up and answering our questions. Secondly. The finance manager Randi was so nice and super helpful throughout the entire process. These two women helped us get through some of the frustrations with experiences we had . And kept us on track leading up to the big day. So we are so thankful for them . The staff day of were great and of course the venue is gorgeous. We fell in love with oak grove the moment we saw it. We would recommend the venue but just be aware of certain items and possible outcomes.

Read moreI know it’s cliche to say that my wedding day was the best day ever, but I wholeheartedly mean that when my husband and I got married at Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove venue it was the absolute BEST DAY. If I were to have a groundhogs day, it would be my wedding day. The venue itself was breathtaking, and all the staff at Jorgensen contributed to making it that way. Val the owner is an absolute gem of a human and her aura radiates as you can tell from the amazing people that gravitate to work there. Everyone responded promptly and made things I was worrying about seem minute. Their floral team is brilliant beyond words and brought my vision to life. Kelly was amazing, so friendly, and if you even think for a second to use different florals you will be making the biggest mistake of your life. Corie was our wedding coordinator and I really do not think I can accurately convey how amazing she was and how she made my day what it was and just flawless. She is so talented and contributed so much to how extraordinary the set up was and how the flow of the day went. She would respond to my many emails and was very patient with how indecisive I was with a lot of things. And can we talk about the food?!? It was chefs kiss good! And our guests are still raving about it. From appetizers to entrees and the late night snack…everything was spectacular. The catering staff was so nice and so we’re the bartenders. I mean really if you want the most epic wedding of your dreams do yourself a favor and BOOK JORGENSEN IMMEDIATELY. You will want to feel like Bill Muarry and relive your wedding day over and over again…I...
