Rocky Fork Dog Park — Attraction in Plain Township

This is a nice dog park. They have one side for the larger dogs and one side for the smaller dogs. They're pretty good size for running you can get a decent throw with a tennis ball launcher. They also have some inground fountains that a lot of the dogs love to play in. There's a nice shaded area to sit under if you like that. If it's been particularly rainy recently you might want to call the park ranger first to make sure the park is open. My favorite dog park. They have three parks the third is my favorite because it's more for horses really. It's in the back of the park and no one is ever there. My dog is super reactive now because when he was a year old he got attacked by a dog at the bark park that wasn't trained at all, his owner did nothing to stop it, I had to physically protect my dog and fight this dog off. So he is understandably NOT comfortable with other dogs. So I take him back to the empty park in the back so he can flat out run. He loves...

This is a great park for small dogs. Many others don't offer a large enough area for them to really run, but this one offers equal size as the large dog area. Occasionally, the park will switch sides the small/large dogs are on, which I'm guessing to balance out the wear and tear of the grounds. The pools and fountains are a great feature.
