Simple, easy hike with nice stretches along the Rogue and Grand Rivers. Thankful it's been dry and there were few mosquitoes today but I can imagine how bad they could be. Saw plenty of wildlife today, too. It will be a great park once completed. There is poison ivy EVERYWHERE along the trails and sometimes growing out overhead, so stay in the center of the paths, don't reach up to grab the "branches" and you'll be fine. Read moreThis place isn’t really a park yet. It has very weird vibes - just feels like abandoned land with some muddy paths around it. This part of the rogue is really nasty and dirty. Fished here for about an hour and didn’t get a bite. Lots of trash, a dead animal carcass on the path, and the property across the river look pretty sketchy. Definitely has potential to be a great park but I’m not coming back here...
