First visit is surely my last. We picked for about an hour and a half and left with barely one full quart of strawberries each. Jen berated us for picking in the row beside ours and made a scene in front of other families who were also scrounging to find a few good berries. As the surrounding adults and children watched in disbelief, we apologized and moved back to the row she pointed at. She then proceeded to broadcast our mistake to the other women working there and we were further chastised during the checkout process. I understand everyone has a bad day, but there was no reason to treat us that way for an honest mistake. I’m happy that I did not bring any of my children with me because no one should be subjected to that kind of behavior.

Terrible experience here strawberry picking… an older woman and her team stand over you with their walkie talkies and watch your every move. They have an enormous field full of berries but force you to pick from a single bush. When we moved from that spot instead of explaining the rules ( which mind you aren’t written anywhere) she approached and condescendingly scolded us in front of everyone. We since visited Wellwood Orchard for strawberry picking and had a completely opposite experience. Would definitely recommend a drive there instead.

Excellent selection of a vast variety of plants from annuals to perennials and beyond. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for a particular variety of kale and the first person I talked to walked me directly to the product. The pottery section is loaded with interesting designs.

I have supported this farm for many years, sadly I can no longer do this. Over the years there has certainly been a turn away from providing top quality produce to the area and more of a focus on widening profit margins. Produce that used to last for weeks now lasts days or even hours at times. For the price they charge, it is often not worth it. Recently, their decision to allow PYO strawberries to continue when the fruit is rotten from rain is pretty awful. I personally picked berries that went bad within the same day, these were the supossed good berries they told me were still pickable. In the end I paid $5.50 for a quart of rotten strawberries that took me a hour to pick, and were rotten by 8pm. I ate maybe 4 of them and my wife maybe had 2 or 3. I shudder to think of the money wasted by other people I saw there who were going through the effort to pick full 8 quart trays. A lot of people...

⭐️ If I could give this place negative 5 stars, I would.

My wife, our 2-month-old daughter, and her friend went here to enjoy what should’ve been a peaceful, family-friendly outing to pick strawberries. Instead, they were met with nothing but disrespect from the staff for the entirety of their visit.

From the moment they arrived, the tone was cold, rude, and completely unwelcoming. They weren’t treated like paying customers — or even like human beings. The staff's attitude was uncalled for and frankly shameful. This is not how you treat guests, let alone a mother with an infant.

There are plenty of other farms and businesses that would gladly welcome respectful families and appreciate their business. We will never be back — and I’ll make sure our friends, family, and community know exactly how we were...
