I've been going to this farm for past 8 years and I appreciate the hard work that they put in growing fresh produce. Their produce are of good quality and I have a lot of respect for these farmers. The reason I am giving one star review is in my last 3 to 4 visits I've faced rude behavior from the staff. In my last visit, there were few boxes of raspberries when we started looking at them and touched it the girl at the counter started saying "that you are not supposed to touch it. how many boxes did you touch. it spoils the produce and so on" I understand there are customer who do not behave properly but spilling out your frustration from other customers to someone who has just entered your farm is not fair! They should have put a notice near the raspberries box saying "Please do not touch". While I still respect their hardwork, I wish they also respect dignity of their customer. This is not one off incident, we have noticed this rude behavior and lack of respect for customers few other times in the past as well. I wish they refine their training processes and put clear signs of what exactly they expect from their customers and be a little nice to people. I wish the owners read this review and take appropriate actions. While I still love their fresh farm produce, I will be very hesitant to go to this farm again as I care about my respect and self esteem more than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I stopped in moments ago for cucumbers, honey and tomatoes after a long bike ride for a healthy snack. The place opens at 11 AM. It was approximately 10:54 AM. We saw a young girl who we assumed was a customer, walk in the building, so we assumed it was okay to go to the outdoor area and select our items. We were so rudely and curtly approached by an older women who said to my husband, "Sir, we are not open yet, you could wait in the shaded area until we open at 11 AM!!!" It was 10:54 AM when we were told to step away from the table area and stand in shade until they open in 6 Minutes!!! And then the women replied that the girl was her "helper." As if we knew that they would not accommodate us for arriving 6 minutes before their offical opening time. We are local to the area and will never return! Would rather support another local farmer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been visiting this family run farm since 1998. I know it's already late in the growing season but everyone whom I recommend this farm thank me - so keep it in mind for the next season. I'll keep it brief - their corn is fantastically delicious, their melons (my favorite is smaller yellow seeded variety) this year especially are nothing short of amazing - sweet with a hint of citrus-y notes. Yearly in the season don't miss their snap peas. Oh and their "Saturn" or "donut" peaches are out of this world delicious and well worth waiting for (not to mention their regular yellow peaches). I wish the farm brought back the earlier strawberries (the smaller variety) they grew in the early 2000s. Jill and crew are a pleasure to visit! Wishing them many more happy growing seasons and delicious abundance of...
