We are regular visitors to the temple and find it a very spiritually invigorating place. Every visit there brings a sense of serenity and bliss which is difficult to explain in mere words. The priests and the volunteer staff have been doing an exceptionally great service to the devotees for many years.
The temple also offers priest services and we availed this service to perform a pooja in our home. We sought Rishikesh-ji services and the entire process was very seamless and efficient. Rishkesh-ji guided us through each preparatory step, including items needed for the puja. On the day of the Puja, he arrived early to start the preparations. The puja was performed with religious fervor, with Rishikesh-ji guiding us patiently through each step and making us comfortable. In addition, he also explained the meaning behind the poojas steps to my young sons, which helped them(and us) to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of our rich Hindu rituals. Overall, it was a deeply enriching experience for us and thanks to Rishkikesh-ji to the Mighty Lord, everything went very well.
We highly recommend the priest services offered by the temple. We sincerely feel every family should perform poojas(depending on your specific Ishta-deivatha) at home, which forms a core part of our faith. This is in addition to the path of spiritual journey we strive to undertake...
Read moreThis is a very good temple and neatly maintained. The good part ends there. One of the staff is very rude. This person named Koteeswar approached us and started asking me to control my 2 year old kid roaming around. I told him he is having a good time in the temple and he will scream if I try to hold him. He said I have to, otherwise he will hold him. His main complaint was that he screamed during Bhajan but his claim is baseless. There were 3 kids around at that time who are of similar age. Not trying to find who is at fault, but kids are kids. They are God's in Indian culture. Looks like this person hates kids. I am visiting the temple for the very first time but did not expect this. Never experienced this in any other temple. I came to learn from other devotees that this is not the first time this has happened, but quite few times with other parents. No idea what the management is doing to 'control' this person. Where is the hospitality? Is this the way you treat devotees? Beware, if you have kids I sincerely urge you not to visit this temple. Unfortunately cannot...
Read moreI have been a Baba devote for over 35 years. I try to visit the DFW Baba temple as often as possible. I get a sense of peace every time I’m at the temple. I think the volunteers at the temple are very “up tight”. They run the temple like a dictatorship and in a very regimental manner. I feel they have lost the essence of being a Baba bhakth. Prayers/pujas to Baba or visiting the temple are not supposed to have any “niyamulu & nishtalu” (rules and regulations). My request to the management is to have the guard down a little. Visiting the temple should be spiritual fun activity and not like visiting a concentration camp. Our kids are the ones that are going to take our culture and traditions forward. I think kids are getting dissuaded from coming to the temple and consequently the parents. I hope this feedback is not falling...
