A nice little paved trail. Good for walking and biking. There are often other people using the trail at the same time so it is important to remember to be courteous of others and to pass safely when on a bike. There are beautiful views along the entire trail. Not a lot of elevation gain. You don't have to worry about cars for the most part. There are a few places where the trail will cross a road. Just make sure to look both ways and be safe! Very good trail for taking kids and beginner riders.

I went for a bike ride was almost to Wade springs on the paved Murdock trail head when I encountered a fuzzy friend. Chillean rose tarantula. Don't be fooled by their size, the small ones can be deadly too. They can move very fast when they want to. Can be fatal to someone less than 100lbs

We love riding the valley Vista trails nearby. Trailhead is small, so parking can be limited. Good restrooms and a water fountain. Right next to the Murdock trail. Great place to start a ride or run. Easy to find. Valley Vista trails are really fun!

We have been slowly working our way down the Murdoch canal on Saturday mornings walking about 1 hour out and back. The canal trail has these nicely kept trailhead parking lots with bathrooms, water fountains, bike fixing stations, and information about the now underground canal. They are placed every few miles along the train and make the...
