Rhonemus Cellars is one of those places you visit once and immediately start planning your next trip back. If youâre within an hour, thereâs no excuse not to check it out. Even if youâre a couple hours away, itâs totally worth the drive â especially if youâre a wine lover. It honestly feels like a little slice of Napa right here in central Ohio and they are bottling wine that will have you questioning if you are really in Ohio.
The wine is top-notch, but what really sets this place apart is the vibe. The owners are super intentional and clearly care about the experience theyâre creating â not just the wine, but the community around it. Everyone is friendly, the space is beautiful, and thereâs this relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger.
The food? Way better than youâd expect from a winery. The menu is legit â fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Their Chef deserves an applause. Perfect for a light dinner or a long afternoon on the patio with a glass (or bottle) in hand.
And if you golf, bring your clubs. The 18-hole course is in incredible shape right now â fast greens, great layout, and honestly playing better than it ever has. youâd be hard pressed to find a golf-wine-dine combo of this caliber anywhere else in Ohio.
All in all, Rhonemus Cellars is a total gem. Great wine, great food, great people. Whether youâre spending a chill afternoon or making a full day out of it with golf, this place delivers every time....
Read moreWe stumbled upon this winery without a reservation and were immediately welcomed by the gracious owners, Barry and Jennifer. Their warmth and hospitality set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
Our server, Nicki, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive in the best possible way. She guided us through the menu, offered excellent wine recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering.
One of the menu highlights was the pasta dish, which they kindly customized by swapping out the shrimp for blackened chicken. The result? Possibly the most delicious meal I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the light, buttery lemon sauce was divine, rich enough to be memorable without overpowering the other flavors.
My husband ordered the steak, and it was cooked to perfectionâtender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. We started with a charcuterie board that was thoughtfully portioned and featured a delightful surprise: a kalamata olive spread that was both unique and delicious.
To top off an already wonderful visit, Barry gave us a spontaneous tour of the winery. The grounds are stunning, and his passion for the craft was evident in every detail. We left feeling like family. And just when we thought it couldnât get better, we found out they offer live music on Sundays!
This place is, without a doubt, the best hidden gem we've ever discovered. Canât...
