Veltre's Wedding & Event Centre — Attraction in Plum

We had 134 guests, including about 12 children for our March 2024 wedding. We were at Veltre’s for our Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception, and After Party. Everything went so smoothly and all of our guests reported they had a great time. Staff and Service was superb. Event staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Wait staff served everyone at the table at the same time and responded efficiently to requests. Bar tenders never let a long line form. The Space is gorgeous- gold railings, mirrored walls, brick walls, lighted curtains, fireplaces with decorated mantels, chandeliers, chiavari chairs and simple carpet (no elaborate patters or bright colors). The windowed wall provides an amazing view. The Food is delicious and the portions are ample. They were able to accommodate guests participating Ramadan. They were also great with kids- brought out the chicken fingers and fries with the adult salad course. Also, they own the pizza shop next door so it was easy to get a late night snack for the after party. Communication was timely and direct. Questions were answered quickly and decisions were made effectively. Expectations and costs were clear. This place is awful. The staff is completely unproffesional and rude from beginning to end. We were attending a wedding reception and arrived at 4:30 for the event which was set to start at 5:30. The parking was a disaster first of all, we apparently werent permitted to park at the top level but they put an 8 x 11 piece of paper on the front door. So after people parked they had to move. A few couples went into the venue as the door was propped open. The head chef decided it was appropriate to come out in a green t shirt with his arms outstretched and shouted that they werent ready yet and we needed to leave. We had elderly couples with canes and young couples with infant children who were forced to either cram into a fifteen foot hallway or wait outside in the 40 degree December weather. Then the wedding reception starts and without warning or as much as a notice over the microphone the caterer closed the bar. Who does that? The view and set up was beautiful dont get me wrong. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Veltre's and it was perfect! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. All of the decor is beautiful and the view is stunning! But there's also a lot of flexibility to make it your own. The bar room is a fun and unique feature that we enjoyed for dancing. We (and our guests) loved the food. It was delicious and there were many options which made it easy to customize what we wanted. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We mostly worked with Courtney and she was a huge help. She was always ready to answer our questions and help us figure things out. She even helped us think through the best flow of events and how the space would work for our guests. We also loved that Veltre's handled a lot in house. We didn't have to find a separate caterer. We were even able to rent things like centerpieces that made setup and cleanup much easier.
