This is an interesting place that is family-oriented. It boasts a museum filled with many artifacts, as well as a town that has been preserved with actual buildings and furnishings from Calvin Coolidge's hometown. You can visit the home where he was sworn in as president and see what everyday life was like in Vermont during his time. It’s a must-see! Don't skip the museum either; it is very informative.

I gave it three stars only because our tour guide was less than desirable. He got mad at us because my granddaughter wanted to leave early. Other than that, it was an...

This is the house where President Coolidge grew up (the house where he was born is just across the street, also worth checking out). Come inside and take a look at the rooms, notably the one where he was sworn in as President by his own father after the sudden death of his predecessor, President Harding. Came for the history, stayed for the gorgeous views. This tiny village makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. You can also see the room where Calvin Coolidge was unexpectedly sworn in as the 30th president! #vermont #fall #leafpeeping #autumn

This is the only presidential museum that the whole town is the museum. You can spend hours here, I know because I did. You won't be disappointed visiting the Homestead of one of our greatest presidents. The road trip will be well worth it.
