How is it that I pay $80 for a damn beach access sticker, yet cannot even access the beach!? That’s absurd! Residence should absolutely take precedence over tourists buying their daily beach passes. And apparently, when the lot is full, you need to wait for 30 cars to leave before they open it back up. I’ll be requesting a refund. This is absolute nonsense, and the town really should be ashamed. Not to mention when you buy an $80 sticker that’s only good for what… A few months out of the whole year, It’s not like you even get access to the crossover because nine times out of 10…It’s closed off! Waste of money, complete rip off, i’m just another example of Plymouth making money, clearly, not going to the good...

$20 for parking and the water is not warm but not as cold as the North Shore. The facilities were well-maintained and Sandy's beachfront restaurant or bar it's quite good but I would recommend getting there early as the parking lot and space shrinks very quickly it is a long and narrow Beach with quite a few rocks but my experience was very good and the other reviewers described it quite well but the life guards were there but allowed us to drink and smoke with no issues and allowed kids to play and have fun without interfering which was a pleasant change so overall a very good experience and a family / dog...

I had never been to a beach as far north as this one, and it was beautiful! My son and I loved all of the small smooth rocks and shells to collect, as well as getting to see a few people riding their horses down the beach. We also got to see a beautiful little seal that would bob his/her head up every couple of minutes and just look around at us for a while. Of course down in the Gulf of Mexico area we don't get to see that. It was a beautiful experience for my family. I would love to go back soon! The Plymouth Plantation, which isn't far at all, is a great learning experience for children and...

We were a little disappointed waking up in the morning and packing the family into the car, only to discover that the beach is only open to locals on the weekends from 830-430. so we headed up to Duxbury for the day which was gorgeous and came back after 4:30 to Plymouth Long Beach and were pretty disappointed in the beach. It's extremely Rocky and dirty. The parking lot was packed with people smoking and drinking. the parking lot is very close to the beach which is a pro, the sunset was absolutely gorgeous too! Feel like the town could put some effort and money to making this beach a really nice place.

Plymouth beach is a great time. Only problem is the part where you would be sitting is extremely rocky with large rocks. As much as you move them you always find more. Fist sized many larger. Once you get to the water part though it is pretty much no rocks and your all good. The sun still hits the same as if you were anywhere else so still great for tanning. And sandys is right on the beach. Such a good place to eat.

Short drive from Plymouth center. We arrived as the tide was comin in. Our children wanted to go.looking for sea shells. We set their expectations a little low, telling them to expect to find mosty rocks. They were pleasantly surprised to find rocks, shells, and a few little friends that were photographed and released back into the water. We will be returning later this week.
