Jester Park Nature Center — Attraction in Polk City

Cool stuff for kids to see and interact with. I like that the kids can climb under the tables and see what animals make homes underground. Puppet theater with lots of cool animal puppets. We visited while there was some kids programming and that was fun. Fun outdoor areas to explore too. We had a picnic lunch on the upper level deck and that was so nice to hear the water feature and sit in the shade and look out on the trees and prairie areas. Lots of picnic tables in the back. This place is beautiful! Plenty of trails nearby. So many fun learning opportunities in lower level. There is a puppet show, tunnels to climb through and turtles to watch.
