A very beautiful walk inside and outside the dunes. Temp dropped by degrees when entering the western sand dune and Palmetto trails off A1A. Nice viewing tower in the dunes west of A1A with 360 viewing. Love the view. Beautiful spot. There is the beach portion with a beautiful wooden boardwalk with railings, and a pavilion over the preserved sand dunes. Then there is the river wetlands walkway on the western portion off Peninsula Drive(not pictured) where a boardwalk takes you through the natural Florida wetlands to the Intercoastal waterway. This little slice of natural beauty preserved on the beachside/riverside in Ponce Inlet is always worth the trip! Hope it is always well respected and cared for.
*side note- parking is rather limited and it’s best viewed in the morning or late afternoon,...

We sat there for 45 mins just enjoying the atmosphere and the huge boats...
