Droumavalla Farms Winery — Attraction in Poolesville

We came on a random Saturday on the recommendation from a nice Roots employee who said this particular venue was a bit off the beaten path and wouldn’t be filled with the typical route 15 traffic.

She didn’t disappoint and neither did this fantastic gem. I arrived and asked if they were kid friendly as many wineries are going 16+, and they advised “as long as my kids were awesome,” they were welcome 😂 I advised they were grade A, and nothing but exceeding expectations ensued.

The owner so graciously allowed me and my husband a complimentary taste of their AMAZING champagne, and we just went up from there. An amazing wine tasting ensued with smooth as butter petit Verdot, the owners wife’s namesake wine which was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, a fantastic rosé and Lauren, a smooth porch pounder easy drinker.

The ambiance and overall ease of use of this gorgeous establishment with beautiful LoCo as the backdrop makes this spot a place I can’t wait to frequent. Just a beautiful period to a gorgeous Loudoun...

I've been to Droumavalla several times and it is definitely one of my favorite wineries. The scenery is magnificent and the ambiance inside is perfection. Elizabeth is always such a pleasure and knows a lot about the wine. She helped me reserve the back room they have to host my birthday party and it was such an amazing time. The room is a perfect size for 15-20 people and plenty of space to bring food/snacks and they have games, which my guests enjoyed. Eddie, who's the owner is amazing also! He takes pride in his business, especially his water. So if you stop by and he, or his son, is there, be sure to ask. They offer tastings and also have a draft IPA. We chose this venue for our office event extension of our Botox party celebration, and we're absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. The wine and charcuterie were extraordinary, beautifully presented, and the whole process from booking to dealing with the professional staff was seamless.
