I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after visiting this winery. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. Their attitude was cold and dismissive, with no effort made to welcome or engage us—as if we were bothering them just by being there. The atmosphere felt more like an exclusive club that didn’t want outsiders, rather than a place that claims to value visitors.
Unfortunately, the poor service completely overshadowed the wine itself. We ended up leaving early and continued our day just around the corner at Fabbioli Cellars, where we were immediately met with friendly faces and a warm, welcoming environment.
There are far better wineries in the area—do yourself a favor and skip this one.
Editing to respond to your response. I’m genuinely disappointed by the way you’ve chosen to respond to our review—though, based on how you’ve handled other unfavorable feedback, I can’t say I’m entirely surprised. Rather than addressing concerns with professionalism and courtesy, your response included personal attacks and misinformation, which only reinforces the negative experience we had at your establishment.
Let’s clarify the facts:
On June 8, a reservation for a party of 8 was made via Google Assistant. A follow-up call was made the same day to confirm the reservation and to ask whether we could potentially add a few more guests at a later time once everyone had the opportunity to RSVP. We were told this would be fine. During that call, we were informed of your limited menu. We asked if we could bring cheese and crackers along with a birthday cake, and were told that would be acceptable. On June 22, we received a text from Lori confirming the reservation for a “Birthday Party” and explicitly approving the cake. Based on the earlier conversation, we reasonably assumed the cheese and crackers were also approved. You claim we arrived with 12 people unannounced. However, Lori confirmed via text that 12 guests would be fine. This was not a surprise or a last-minute change on our part. We did not bring “multiple trays of food.” We brought a small case and a Tupperware container with cheese and crackers, which were ultimately discarded due to your change in stance. As for decorations, we brought a few balloons, napkins, and flowers to celebrate a birthday. We were respectful of your space and cleaned up everything afterward. Your claim that we left after an hour without ordering is false. We arrived at noon and stayed until after 2:00 PM, as shown on our receipt. We ordered two pizzas and two bottles of wine and tried to enjoy a low-key celebration despite the uncomfortable atmosphere. We came to your establishment in good faith to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, the way we were treated and the tone of your public responses have left a lasting...

The service, the food, the atmosphere, just lovely. You get a 5-star experience without having to go deep into the city and that feels like going “home”… if you’ve watched those old school movies that show an idealistic perfect meal at the holidays. If you happen to go on an evening that the weather is conducive to eating outside on their patio, I highly recommend you do just that, there is a peaceful serenity you can find here and during those quiet moment in between conversations you can hear the crickets singing to you.
A husband/wife team run this establishment and it just exudes this, no-one is stranger for long, you’re family, kinda atmosphere. It’s farmhouse chic, southern minimalism, beautiful, calming design with an eclectic vibe… that means you’ll find something interesting if you take the time to really take in the decor around you. There’s just something so comforting about having a meal here, that I was already planning my next few visits before we had even paid the bill.
The food was flavorful, not overdone, memorable…quality ingredients and a passion for his craft, the chef wowed us with each course. The Arancini was packed with a meticulously prepared mushroom risotto that melted in your mouth and then was quickly enhanced by the delicious red sauce that only elevated the flavors more with a pairing of their estate talon red wine. The filet mignon was juicy and paired wonderfully with the earthy parsnip purée, it could have been cut with a butter knife it was so delicately prepared to perfection. The Bombay chicken curry had the right amount of spice and flavor that made it quite delicious yet not overwhelming on top of the fluffy and fragrant jasmine rice. I could go on, but you may just want to go try the food yourself.
The dessert is where I slipped into heaven on a pillowy cloud of satisfaction… the Vanilla Sponge Cake was out of this world. Dense yet fluffy, springy and sweet but somehow light… the house-made whip cream thick and complimenting of the zest of the fresh lemon. In the beautifully prepared sauce on the plate. I’ve eaten at many places and I don’t prefer to eat cakes anymore, but I would drive an hour just to get a piece...

Gaze into the eyes of your date and feel good about the adventure to get here......this isn't a chain, it's not on the Michelin review (thank God) and be thankful for the world we live in that even HAS places like this (and don't listen to the news on the way...listen to something operatic or John denver or something that will put you in a good mood to receive this blessing.....
