Olympic National Park are so beautiful! The view, so amazing!
At the Hurricane Ridge, we've feel the snow, taste the snow and "rebahan" on the snow (me 🥶😅✌️) The temperature is about -2°C. I love walking with snow shoes. The sound from the snow when I step in it. Crezzz crezzz crezzz! Love it! Next time I'll bring my syrup Marjan coco pandan when I taste the snow. 🤪❄️
And then we continue to go to Lake Crescent, so windy and cold at that time. The lake view is so beautiful, and the air makes our lung freshened. We take a deep breath, maksimum inhale. We've seen deers, Bambi and mama. 🦌 There's a lot of huge old trees (hundreds year old), survived from fire many times. Makes them more beautiful.

Read moreThis mountain range, the lakes and hiking trails here simply leave me speechless, giddy, delirious, lucid, awe inspired and drunk in love with this wild, beautiful place! The trees, roots, fauna, and ferns are growing green furry moss and lichen, and your eyes just want to drink in all the living shades of green, and hiking by the turquoise emerald green lake makes you question if such beauty is real, and if you are dreaming! I actually cannot leave any pictures because as I looked at them, I could see how they do zero justice to how breathtaking it actually is here, you just have to see with your own eyes, and hopefully many many many times!!! The trails are so well maintained and there are many so we were surprised that although the parking lot was full, we saw no one on our entire park and felt like we had the whole magical forest to ourself. Pack in and pack out and have total reverence and respect for this...
Read moreThe Olympic National Park Visitor Center serves travelers from around the world and locals alike. The building hosts a ranger-staffed information desk in its center and offers interpretive exhibits, a movie theater, a bookstore and gift shop, and the Discovery Room with a small ranger cabin/puppet theater and lots of activities for kids and families. Local tip: ask a ranger for the key to the drawers. In addition, the center sits at the trailheads of the Living Forest Trail, a .4-mi. flat gravel nature loop, and the Peabody Creek Loop, a .7-mi. gravel and dirt trail that dips into and out of the Peabody Creek ravine. Both are dog-friendly (on-leash), rare within the park. There is a large parking lot, a historic cabin, a grassy hill, picnic tables, and a beautiful Olympic National Park sign with its own small parking lot for location photos. Hurricane Ridge Road begins just above the center off Mt....
